Eid-il-Kabir Greetings & Why Muslims Celebrate it

Eid il-Kabir also known as Eid al-Adha is an Islamic festival to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim (also known as Abraham) to follow Allah’s (God’s) command to sacrifice his son Ishmael in which later God intervene and told him to sacrifice a Ram instead.

Muslims all around the world observe this event. In some parts, Animals are decorated in plastic jewellery for Eid al-Adha.
