Design

The UX360 looks and feels very good. Ultrabook’s metal lid features a brushed sunburst effect that looks absolutely gorgeous in sunlight. It’s quite  light, weighing only 1.3 kg,  has a thin profile of 13,0 mm and is very well built. It also features a  full set of ports including two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port, mini HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack and even a full-sized SD card reader.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The Zenbook UX360 uses the traditional island-type keyboard  with plastic keys, painted in silver color. The  keys are grippy, drop is adequate at 1.5 mm, while the click is firm and responsive. With these features, Typing feels near perfect, however a bit noisy. Also, The keyboard with white backlit illumination  is just simply gorgeous.
    Did i mentioned that the touchpad is remarkably spacious as well as it’s smooth and glassy. Also big enough for  multi-finger gestures.

Screen

The Zenbook uses 1920 x 1080px IPS touchscreen. Display has bright and vibrant colors while watching movies, Youtube or web browsing. Unfortunately, there will be issues using the ultrabook outdoor as the screen is extremely glossy and will not be visible in bright sunlight. But  as long as you use your laptop indoors or in dim environments, you can fully enjoy your Zenbook.

Performance

The ultrabook comes with a Core i3 chip with  2.2-GHz, 8GB of RAM and 256/512GB SSD-equipped unit. It is by no means a gaming or video-editing machine, but it’s more than fast enough for most multitasking between browser windows full of tabs, email, Facebook and other desktop applications. Hence there will be absolutely any problem playing full HD video and some  photo editing.

Battery

Battery can last up to 7 hours of heavy browsing,  playing an endless loop of music and leaving Wi-Fi on to collect Facebook messages, emails, tweets and so on. This means your Zen can last through a typical working day without power outlet.
