3 Wrong Ways of Social Media. Are You Guilty?

Thanks To Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Jack Dorsey of Twitter, Current Owner of Whatsapp, and Other Social Network Founders as they had really does helped in making the world more open and staying connected.

     Despite the impact social network platform had made and is making, seems some people are unknowingly using it in the wrong way in which you might feel disapointed that YOU ARE ALSO ONE OF THEM!

Below are 3 most common ways i think people are using social media in the wrong way!

  1. Posting false news to gain popularity – I do understand that most people are in pursue of winning fame and gainning popularity on the social media but there are many ways one can earn FAME without having to post FALSE NEWS that could cause harm to SOMEONE or his/her PERSONALITY.
          There was a point in Time, when an HOAX of bathing with salt was stated to starts from whatsapp by someone in which the information later spread like wildfire.

     Almost 80% of the people that heard about the news adhere to it before LATER REALIZING it was UNTRUE.

    I was like; What if the SALT had an adverse effect on some of the people that bath with it, what would the person who started the Hoax claim to be innocent of?
    Would he/she say; “but i just did it for FUN! That would be utter nonsense!
    Social Media is to connect with one another, share ideas, and not some gibberish things that could cause harm.

  2. Abusive Word on Social Media – No matter the issue, i don’t think its fair enough to rain insulting and abusive word on social media. It absolutely doesn’t make sense.
    Don Caprio once talked about this on his blog on How Far Should Social Media Go In Censoring Hate Speech. Though some people might want to back it up and say “if i do not send hate speech back, they would take me for granted”. But I tell you thats not true, infact retaliating with abusive speech would only aggravate the matter.
  3. Beating Around The Bush – Although its okay to add spice to a matter before bringing the main point but too much of SPICE ain’t good.
    Its TOTALLY not COOL and VERY HILARIOUS when a guy go on facebook and says on a lady’s wall;
    “thanks for acceptANCE me” OR EVEN started composing words in an absurd way”
    Haba! Make una take am easy nah! Why don’t you just go straight to the point?

Now Tell me, which one are you guilty of?

      you can definitely make "good joke" or "false funny stuff" that people would love, but NOT to the Extent of NEWS that harm people like the one i stated in the post.
