Best Mobile Chats Application For You. Which One Are You Using?

Having recently shared the best mobile applications that i recommend on NetSocialBlog, i was asked by a Reader about that of chats application which wasn't mentioned in the post.
Although i did planned to publish a post about the chats apps too after awhile, but when the reader asks me, i then decided to write about the post as early as possible.
Chats application are mobile app which works as an IM (INSTANT MESSAGING) between its users. The reason why they're referred to as an IM is because of their faster means of sending and receiving messages which made people to prefer using them when they want to communicate with someone and get reply as fast as possible.
Below are some best mobile chats application i handpicked for you;
  • Whatsapp: This is one of the most widely used chat application which covers lots of Mobile OS. Whatsapp features varies as this depends on the device upon which it was installed.
To Know more about this social app, do take a moment to read whatsapp history and its founders.

  • BBM: In the Genesis of its Creation, the chat application was only designed for blackberry users hence the name BlackBerryMessenger.
But Now the social app had been working with other Mobile Operating System including Android OS.
  • 2go: 3years or so ago, this was an application a mobile user deem necessary as to be installed on his phone but now, RARELY would you see those set of people talk about it again.
"2go are for Kids, dem would say". Although what makes this application unique from whatsapp is that it supports more devices than the others.

  • SKYPE: The skype application was MAINLY developed for Video Chatting although normal chats via text can also be done on it.
Want to talk to someone LIVE irregardless of both your distance, simply go for SKYPE!
  • INSTAGRAM: To be sincere, as at now i haven't used this application so i know little about it. Seems its mainly for uploading picture and videos?
  • WECHAT: Before i download this app, i thought was going to be exactly like whatsapp but turns out to be something more or less of it.
Wechat has lots of features like connecting with friends nearby, ability to search for people and others interesting features.
Which of the chat application you love most? Did you have any chats application which i didn't mention here?
Lets rub mind

  1. I use almost all the apps you've listed asides from 2go... I take Instagram to be my most favorite app tho.

  2. Good to hear You're using all. Seems 2go users have decrease unlike 3years ago

  3. Nice list Tunde, whatsapp is my best chat app for now because of its ability to send BC with images and text.

I loved 2go back then, its on my phone but I don't use it that much unless when I receive msg on it with will enter reply and leave.

2go needs to up their game to compete with the big guys like Whatsapp and co.

  4. @Jacob, Whatsapp is the current trending application you won't hardly find on everyone's phone.
Although 2go are trying their best in the upgrading but i think its just people's preference that changed. Been donkey's ages since i too use the app
