Even though there are various ways to do the backup like storing it in a flashdrive, saving in another memory card, e.t.c but doing it online seems to be the safest way because the offline hardware method might get corrupted or damaged.

You might ask yourself Do I Need this? Well how I wish i was able to read a post like this before, i wouldn't have lose the pictures on my device:/ which i recently deletes them all due to because they were all crippled by a single corrupted file.: However while doing this, you must be careful of what you upload online so you won't become vulnerable to the side effect of social networking.. Now lets get started ;).

How To Backup Your Pictures On Facebook 'Securely.
*. Login to your facebook Account

*. Goto 'Photos' and Click on Create New Album.

*. Name the Album - my pictures - or whatever you want, you can set the Privacy to 'Only Me' - if you don't if you dont wan't other people to see it (i recommended that since its your personal folder). Now Save it.

*. After that, upload the pictures you want to backup to the Album you just created and you're good to go!

=> Anytime your offline storage device failed, be rest assured that you'll be able to download them back from facebook.

  1. It's a good idea. I use this sometimes to get some photos on facebook. I also use my mail as well. But there are still some other type of files that can't be stored on facebook. E.g documents. That's where email comes in handy.

  2. @don Martins thats true, facebook though helps in the case of photos but doesn't store up documents. And like you said 'email' can be used in terms of doc, thanks for the tips;). Do also feel free to checkout other posts too.
